    • Guys, I found out the reason why it happemed. Since I put to pillars right next to the wall, or rather in the wall, it countes as if an invisible wall - hence the bug. Since I also didn't have the doorframe connecting the rooms it countes as one room - the freezer and thus the kitchen was affected by the bug. So don't put the wooden pillars in the wall or else the room will count as outdoors and temparature will be like outside as well. Blue - missing doorframe Red - the wooden pillars in the wall that made it "invisible"

    • Good day, everyone! I'm playing on the latest stable build 41.78 in singleplayer, and I have an issue with the sound. I recommend you to read this first and then watch the video to have a clearer picture of my issue. I have been building my house for quite some time and ran into one problem with the sound that I get when I enter the house. I have built rooms and the floor above them as a roof to make it, well, isolated from the outer world and create a shelter. The problem is that in two of my rooms in my house (kitchen and freezer) the sound of the outside world is still the same as if there was no roof above them, which really breaks the immersion, even though I have built the roof above them, same with the lighting indoors. The game refuses to create the muffled outdoor sounds inside the building in these two specific rooms. In the video, I also show the actual built roof above the rooms and run around to show that in other rooms the muffled sound of the rain works just fine except for those two mentioned above. Please, check out the video and help me out with this - I have put a lot of effort in this house and really want to fix it... somehow...
    • Hello, I'm Badger!   I've been thinking on an idea for awhile for something related to NPC's when it eventually gets to that point in development. What if later in the Zomboid Apocalypse you could encounter Special Forces or other Government-related groups around the world in the Kentucky Exclusion Zone?   It wouldn't be something extreme like entire fleets or military bases, more likely it'd be small very focused groups trying to figure out the how's what's where's and why's of what happened, maybe even trying to find a cure (fruitlessly might I add). This can open up the potential for NPCs to be speaking foreign languages your character doesn't know. This would be an extremely rare thing to encounter, something that leads to either hostile encounters or funny dialogues once translated. I got a couple example scenarios below. The player could encounter two foreign SOCOM (Special Operations Command) groups, who were once enemies historically, now trying to figure something out as they ended up walking into each other. Could be Russian and France Special Forces trying to figure out where they are with funny dialogues such as "This isn't DC" or "You sure the Capital Survived?" Another one is that the player could encounter either dead or Zomboidifed group of soldiers from American SOCOM deep in the woods, maybe even around the Lab, likely trying to figure out the how of what's going on. Would this confirm anything? or could it be mere happenstance that they'd be nearby? It would be left purposefully unconfirmed for the sake of the lore. And a final example would be encountering a group of foreign soldier's, living dead or worse, raiding key Government points in the now long-since fallen Kentucky, trying to see if they can find anything on what's going on, to see if they can save their homeland.   To me the idea of what the world's elite soldiers are doing in an Apocalypse is something I've always pondered, so I finally figured to share. This is obviously something that is far in the future for Project Zomboid, but it was just an idea I wanted to share. - WB
