    • It seems to me that you made the right decision to release the 42nd patch, without waiting for the full completion of work on all the updated planned mechanics. Hopefully, we will be able to play the new unstable version before the end of the summer. I'm really looking forward to the underground levels with new lighting. Good luck! The screenshots with the map update are impressive!
    • Is the unstable build still slated for release sometime next month? I know it was some time ago and things change, but Lemmy sounded confident that it would release in the first half of this year. Otherwise, things are looking great and can't wait to finally get my hands on it!
    • Currently in Multiplayer, you (the host) create a character (appearance, jobs, skills, location), and then join the world in order to open up the server. Other players cannot create a character UNTIL that happens, which sucks because some people (cough my friends cough) takes forever on the character creation menu, reading through the entire list and deciding, before entering the world. By then, hours, maybe even days have passed in-game.   SOLUTION: Have an "enter world" button, AFTER the player finished character customization. That way, the host & other players can join the world at the exact same time, with a fully-finished character and enjoy the adventure together, without having to sit in base waiting for the other to load in. Basically the order will be: [HOST] 1) Create world 2) Create character... (wait in "lobby" afterward) 3) Enter world   [PLAYERS] 1) Join host 2) Create character... (wait in "lobby" afterward) 3) Enter world   However, this means that the world/server is technically "online" when the host is inside character creation, otherwise other players won't be able to join the host's game. This might lead to issues such as players spawning into the world before the host, but that can easily be fixed if it poses as an issue.
