      You are likely missing the Windows Redistributables, Steam and latest versions of Windows should have them installed, Windows 10 will become deprecated soon. You can download them from here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170

      First of all i want to start saying that i have family sharing on. I have a brother and he also plays project zomboid. One day he "brilliantly" decided to try some cheats that some "friends" of him passed him on discord. Result? He got banned on a server. It's not over yet. This happened around three months ago and of course he told nothing to me. I went on and played on recently, first, i started a solo run, then, got bored and started to play on one of my favorite multiplayer servers. This is where the trouble began, a message of "connection failed" started to appear on that server. I tried then other three or four servers and two of those gave the same problem. Then, i started googling stuff to understand the problem until i the idea of a ban started to float in my mind. I then asked my brother what he did and he confessed his sins. Now it seems that the server he was banned on had a permaban shared list or something, that meaning that even my main account, that i never cheated on, is compromised. I can't play on most of multiplayer servers and also i tried to enter co-op with friends and the same message of "connection failed" appeared. I have almost 1500 hours on zomboid and this hit me really bad, at the point that i want to quit the game. My brother never did something like this and i always told him that he wasn't forced to play this game (he always cried about how hard it is). The final question is: if i will ever want to play and try to enjoy this game again, will i need to buy the game again on a new account? Because it seems like i am playing with a crippled game now, not even being able to play co-op with friends. I hope someone has an answer to this because i love this game so much, it's my favorite game. Thanks
