    • Can you link the github page? And can you explain why you need to install a controller from github? Are you trying to virtualize it on your keyboard?
    • Steam should install the redistributable when you install the game. Have you installed it after you reinstalled your PC or did you just move the game to the new PC? Or if you launched it from a secondary hard drive.
    • I believe you are correct. I uninstalled every single redistributable installed with the game, then I installed a random game which installed "Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022" x64 and x86 for me. now the game actually works on the normal version. thank you Beard nonetheless.   However, is this considered a bug? I have looked up the troubleshooting before I posted here but nobody mention that this could be an issue. Could I possibly report this a bug and a potentially a bug fix? perhaps Devs start pushing the actual required resdistributables when installing the game.
    • Possibilities and Implications: Plot Twist: Misinformation and Media Control: If EVNA was an intended plot point, it could suggest a deeper narrative about misinformation and the media's role in controlling the story. The change from calling the disease EVNA to Mad Cow could indicate a deliberate attempt to obscure the true nature of the outbreak. Government and CDC Involvement: The implication that the CDC and government shifted the blame to Mad Cow Disease could suggest a cover-up or misdirection to prevent public panic or to hide their own involvement or failures. Dr. Galbraithe's Statements: The differing accounts could reflect internal conflicts or differing levels of knowledge among the experts and authorities. It might show how initial assessments evolved or were suppressed and replaced by a more convenient narrative. Simple Mistake: Editing Oversight: The Indie Stone might have initially planned a storyline involving EVNA but later decided to streamline the narrative around Mad Cow Disease and prions for simplicity or realism. The single reference to EVNA might be an artifact from an earlier draft of the story. Consistency Issues: Despite the general rarity of mistakes, it's possible that the mention of EVNA was overlooked during the final editing and consistency checks.
    • Nice to see Muldraugh existing buildings getting reworked I wonder how other towns will look like with a rework.   As for the lighting this looks interesting and add some good use for bringing flashlights after power outages.
